Overcome Anxiety, Nancy Cooke, PTSD,Trauma

The Overcome Anxiety Clinic is an eight-week program designed for those who suffer from anxiety; GAD, Panic Disorder, PTSD. This clinic gives you tools to uncover your inner power to heal from the inside out, and lessen the effects that anxiety has on your mind, body, and life.
Over eight weeks, you will be guided through a step-by-step process to create your own natural & holistic self-healing program, to practice daily, in your own home over the course of the program and beyond.

The information given in each meeting is intended to be worked through in the two weeks between sessions. A daily commitment is required to defeat anxiety – it is no easy feat to reprogram your nervous system!

You’ll be provided a self-reflection/integration workbook, a manual with educational support information if you want to dig-in deeper, audio recordings with guided practices, sequence sheets, weekly tracking charts, and a self-regulation toolbox to help you uncover your inner power and gain control over overwhelming feelings and sensations.

You will be introduced to a neuropsychological explanation of triggers, what is happening internally when triggered, and the process of reprogramming our responses to get rid of triggers. Conscious use of self-healing tools are profoundly liberating when combating the debilitating effects of anxiety and feelings of being stuck.

Learn breathwork, meditation, and gentle movement techniques that are clinically shown to help break the psychological, behavioral, biochemical, and physical cycles that keep anxiety in your life.

A take-home program with daily exercises and lifestyle suggestions will be handed out as well as a guided meditation mp3s. The combination of the methods that we explore are very powerful. Yoga Therapy is a blend of traditional Yoga practices, Ayurveda, Alternative Medicine, and modern medical science. We also explore nutrition, aromatherapy, sound healing and movement. The more you know about anxiety and how to defeat it, the more empowered you become to drive your own self-healing journey. Not all methods work for everyone, but there is one or more methods that will work for all.
