TRE®, or Trauma and Tension Release Exercises, is a somatic body-based practice for people suffering from stress, anxiety, trauma, or PTSD.

What is TRE®️?

RELEASE STRESS * REDUCE TENSION * FEEL ALIVE

Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®) is a simple yet innovative series of exercises and stretches that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma. Helpful for Symptoms of PTSD and other stress-related issues. Created by Dr. David Berceli, Ph.D, TRE® safely activates a natural reflex mechanism that releases muscular tension and stress, calming the nervous system. The body is encouraged to return to balance and harmony when this innate mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment.

Listen to Mike and Danielle discuss the benefits of TRE®️.

As the graph illustrates, a balanced nervous system allows for a life of health, wellness, connected relationships, and joy. Often, we unconsciously hold stress in the body, and the symptoms of Fight/Flight or Freeze/Collapse arise in the many forms and more listed above. TRE®️ facilitates a state that allows the body to naturally “come back down” from this stress and into balance again.

Listen to Mike Thomas’ interview on Sheri Demaris’ cable TV show, “Macro Magic.” where he discusses how TRE®️ improves stress regulation and nervous system attunement to facilitate healthy relationships.
