Gentle yoga can improve your mood, relax you and can help reduce stress or negative emotions. This class is especially suitable for beginners and others looking for a softer, slower practice that builds on a gentler sequence of poses. We start by centering and mindfully exploring the breath which helps to balance and synchronize body and mind. Slow movements gently stretch your body: the muscles, the skin, even massaging organs and increasing blood flow into the areas needing it the most.
Class concludes with a period of deep relaxation; leaving us feeling relaxed, renewed and restored. This class is a great way to start your day with more energy or transition from a hectic day into a tranquil and restful evening.

Recharge and bring focus and energy to your mind and body
This slower-paced class is for beginners and all levels who want to recharge and start their day with more energy and focus. This practice helps to calm the nervous system and release deeply held tension as well as replenish low or depleted energy. We begin with centering and chanting which warms up the body; followed by a short, quiet meditation to steady the mind and focus our attention on being present. Class ends with a long restful and restorative Savasana.
With this practice you’ll experience a deep state of relaxation. You will feel energized, yet rested. Your body, mind and emotions are refreshed and energized with a sense of joy and well-being to help you meet and embrace life more fully and meet the challenges of the day.
Slow Flow Yoga

Get in shape or stay in shape with this low-impact slow pace exercise. Experience a more active flow of basic yoga poses while guided with proper alignment. Beginners easily start enjoying the amazing benefits of a yoga practice and intermediate students grow their practice by learning new poses.
Gradually warm up muscles, joints and connective tissue, stimulating fresh blood and oxygen into better circulation. Guided imagery is often presented which can counteract anxiety and help overcome stress, anger, pain, depression and insomnia.

Yoga is for everyone, even with limited mobility
Chair yoga offers people of all ages and abilities all of the benefits of traditional yoga. This class will help to increase your strength, flexibility and energy and decrease stress. We begin by tuning into our breath to calm and focus the mind. We warm up with gentle movements to loosen our shoulders, ankles, legs, feet and hands. Then we slowly transition into a flow of seated yoga postures while synchronizing these movements to our breath. Each class concludes with a restorative Savasana; a brief period of conscious rest to integrate the benefits of our session. There is no need to miss out on the benefits of yoga just because you may have restrictions. You’ll leave feeling energized, refreshed and balanced in body, mind and spirit.

Learn how synchronizing your daily self-care routine with the seasons can foster better health, both physically and mentally.
The goal of this class is to teach you how to create a sustainable daily wellness practice by introducing you to traditional yoga techniques that are simple and easy to integrate into everyday life.Each week we’ll review the elements of the season and how to use techniques from Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy to maintain balance in the body and mind without having to roll out the yoga mat every day. Then we’ll dedicate some time to going inward during a structured practice of movement, breath, and introspection. You’ll be sent off with a special self-care worksheet to keep you engaged with your practice throughout the week. A journal or notebook is recommended. All levels welcome. Drop-ins welcome
Kids Yoga for Ages 6 to 11

Yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children. Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children as they learn balanced growth and new ways to strengthen the mind and body. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well; empowering the child to self-regulate emotions and achieve calm in an overstimulating world. Yoga improves behavioral issues for all children including those with learning disorders and has also been shown to improve the lives of children with autism spectrum disorders. Research also suggests that yoga can help children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) by improving the core symptoms of ADHD, including inattentiveness, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. It can also boost school performance in children with ADHD.
