Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga calms the nervous system, releases deeply held tension, and replenishes low or depleted energy. With this practice, you’ll experience a deep state of relaxation—energized yet rested. This class begins with centering and 2-3 simple poses and stretches, which warm up the body and are followed by 3-5 fully supported postures using supportive bolsters, blankets, straps, and weighted bags to invite a deep calm, subtle shifts to the consciousness, self-awareness, and inquiry. The class ends with a short, quiet meditation to steady the mind and focus our attention on being present. This class is suitable for anyone and is great for reducing stress, anxiety, and a busy, overworked mind.

Slow Flow Gentle Yoga

Slow Flow Gentle Yoga
Slow Flow Gentle Yoga is designed to help you tune back in with your internal world, the true nature of one’s self—a place of eternal love, gratitude, forgiveness, peace, and oneness. This slow-paced yoga class allows time to listen to what our bodies need in each moment. Classes are designed to help relieve stress from the mind and body. As we unify the breath to the body’s movement, we bring conscious movement back to the mind. If you are looking for relief from any stress in your life, the class offers a space to achieve anything you put your mind and body to.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is appropriate for anyone in the mood for a gentle practice, with physical limitations that don’t allow getting up and down off the floor, and for those new to yoga. You will begin class on the floor, move to stand, then back to the floor. No repeated up and down like a slow flow gentle class. This class incorporates simple sequences to warm the body and slower-paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. Additional benefits include quieting the mind and helping to reduce stress.

Calming Flow Yoga

Calming Flow Yoga

This practice gradually warms up muscles, joints, and connective tissue, stimulating fresh blood and oxygen into better circulation. Calming Flow Yoga is a great way to slow down, become present in the moment, and connect with yourself. This class moves up and down off the floor throughout the class, but options can be offered for those with limited mobility. This class welcomes all levels.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga offers people of all ages and abilities the benefits of traditional yoga. This class will help to increase your strength, flexibility, and energy and decrease stress without putting stress on your joints. There is no need to miss out on the benefits of yoga just because you may have restrictions. This class is accessible for everyone.

Invite Stillness with Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga

Invite Stillness with Yin Yoga is a slow, passive style of yoga, done mainly on the floor in seated or lying-down postures. In Yin, you will hold an asana, or pose, for anywhere between one and 20 minutes. You will come into the pose to a point where we feel significant resistance—your ‘edge’—and stay there, calmly holding the pose and remaining still for the duration.

Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga is high energy, fun, empowering, and educational. Children of this age love to role-play and pretend, so this yoga class lets them be who they are. This class is high-energy and fast-paced to keep them focused and moving. Yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, reducing children’s anxiety and stress. Yoga improves children’s balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity as they learn balanced growth and new ways to strengthen the mind and body.
