Dance Movement for All Abilities

Dance Movement Classes are for all abilities and improve physical and mental health. Seated or Standing dance is a great exercise and can improve muscle tone and strength, increase heart rate, improve lung function, increase circulation, and lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. It can also help with weight management, improve flexibility, and increase endurance. Dance can also help build core strength, supporting internal organs and power movement.

Dance can help relieve stress by reducing cortisol levels. It can also improve mood and fight depression by increasing serotonin production, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood. Learning a new skill like dance can also boost confidence and give a sense of accomplishment.

Our Qi Gong Classes are accessible to all abilities and help people relax their minds and bodies, which can help manage stress and anxiety. Reduced stress can also improve the immune system. Qi Gong, similar to Tai Chi, involves regulating the mind, breath, and body’s movement and posture.

Meditation Classes for All Abilities

Our Meditation Classes promote mindfulness and body awareness. It also aids in resistance to disease & helps in recovery time after surgery & illness. Most importantly, it helps manage stress.  Don’t worry if you have tried it before and found it challenging. These classes are an easy place to start and require no experience.

Tension Release Exercises (TRE)/ Neurogenic Yoga Classes for All Abilities

Our TRE Classes In TRE/ Neurogenic Yoga combine posture and breathwork with the body’s natural, therapeutic shaking response called Self Induced Therapeutic Tremors (SITT). Some of the benefits include release of chronic tension and increase of energy and stamina, discharge of buried emotional and physical trauma, freedom from symptoms of sciatica and fibromyalgia, decrease of aches and pains, improved sleep, improved circulation, improved mood, improved sense of feeling grounded and focused and improved flexibility.

Stretching Classes for All Abilities
