“We can choose to throw stones, to stumble on them, to climb over them, or to build with them.” —William Arthur Ward

Psychotherapy helps you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.

Gambling & Addictions Counseling or therapy for problem gamblers helps you change unhealthy gambling behaviors and deal with uncomfortable emotions rather than escape through gambling.

Sand Tray Therapy is a recognized therapeutic modality for both children and adults. Sand tray work helps identify and reconcile internal conflicts manifesting anxiety and depression.

Our SMART Moves Program provides the opportunity for the child to practice making better choices, ways to self-regulate, and to co-regulate with a parent or caregiver. Through movement and sensory experiences, the child can find balance in their system and then process their concerns, struggles, and traumas.

EMDR Therapy is a powerful psychotherapy approach that has helped an estimated two million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological distress. During EMDR processing, they sort through what others have told them about themselves, what they believe they should think or feel, and then arrive at what they feel to be true.

EMDR appears similar to what occurs naturally during dreaming or (REM) sleep. Therefore, EMDR can be considered a physiologically based therapy that helps a person see disturbing material in a new and less distressing way.

Art Therapy helps people to use creativity and self-expression to support their mental health.

Play Therapy builds on the natural way children learn about themselves and their relationships in the world. Toys act as children’s words, and the play helps children explore their feelings and behaviors, learn new ways to communicate with others and learn healthy ways to solve problems.

Responding to a Workplace Incident: When organizations need to cope with workplace violence, trauma, or other emergency response situations, Airmid’s team of professional therapists is available to provide on-site group or private one-on-one support sessions.
