Acupuncture is the gentle insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body. This process stimulates movement of energy within the body, allowing natural healing to take place. All Practitioners at Airmid Wellness are certified by the Commonwealth of PA and by NCCAOM, the national certifying commission in the USA for Asian medicine (Acupuncture, Asian massage and Chinese Herbal Medicine).

April Greit, L.Ac., M.Ac., Dipl. Ac. is a Pennsylvania licensed Acupuncturist with a strong background in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory with elements of 5 element acupuncture. She is a graduate of the Won Institute Of Graduate Studies in Glenside, Pennsylvania and a Zen Shiatsu Practitioner out of the International School of Shiatsu in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. With over 9 years of experience in holistic medicine, she provides specialized attention to the patient and works closely with them to achieve their health goals. April also has a 16 year background in the Martial Arts which provides her with laser focus required to design an effective and efficient treatment for every individual.
April’s main interest is in establishing balance within each patient: body, mind and spirit. Through a joint effort of Patient and Practitioner, she believes that optimum health potential can be reached.
April’s other interests include: soccer, Martial Arts, running, and Yoga. She enjoys being outside and being active.

Charles Illingworth, IV
M.A., M.Ac., Dipl.Ac., L.Ac. Licensed Acupuncturist
Charles studied acupuncture at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, Pennsylvania, where he is also currently studying Chinese Herbs. Charles brings a strong background in movement studies and a twenty five year history in the martial arts, which gives him a unique perspective toward understanding the needs of the patient during their treatment sessions. Charles is also heavily involved in the professional association for acupuncturists (Association for Professional Acupuncturists, APA) in Pennsylvania and looks to help educate not only his patients but also future generations of acupuncturists.
In his spare time, you might find Charles practicing some of his martial arts, training for his first half marathon later this year, or riding his bicycle to train for the Association for Cancer Research’s Bike-A-Thon!
