“Out of your vulnerabilities, will come your strength” Sigmund Freud
My approach to therapy is simple and clear: if you are struggling with relationships, parenting, personal or professional growth or simply feel stagnant in your life and want change but don’t know where to begin, let’s work together to figure it out and get moving forward again. I utilize a solution-focused yet eclectic approach and believe that healing begins with acceptance and desire to create change within your life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than a decade of experience working with individuals, couples and families as well as providing group counseling to address issues such as depression and anxiety brought on by addiction, past trauma, low self-esteem and erosion within your relationships. Our work will begin with creating a safe space to be open and grow free from the issues that weigh you down.
I am passionate professional who believes that everyone has the ability to meet their full potential, but may not always know the path. I will work with you using a holistic approach that addresses spiritual and emotional health as well as provide education and recovery support. We will work together to discover your strengths and sense of self that has been covered up with a lifetime of baggage and worry.
Amy accepts most insurance plans, as well as self-pay clients on a sliding scale that is affordable for most income levels.
